At Canadian Marine Contractors we strive to push the envelope of what is humanly possible. We do not shy away from complex jobs that involve deep diving. There are multiple ways to go about diving deep depending on depth and job required.
Nitrox diving can be used for depths between 50ft-110ft for longer bottom times compared to air diving though this has draw backs as it can't be used if the job requires heavy tooling or over exertion of the diver.
Surface Decompression on O2 is a great method used consistently by commercial air divers around the world offshore. It involves using a decompression chamber to do the diver decompression stops in a controlled environment and on O2 instead of air. This cuts down on the decompression time a diver has and allows for a longer bottom time. This method of diving is usually used in depths of 100ft-180ft.
